Around Decorah

Whether it’s outdoor adventures or indoor coziness, Decorah has a lot to offer. Our family and guests enjoy cross-country skiing and snowshoeing Decorah’s many groomed trails as well as places to explore beyond the city limits. There’s also a favorite sledding hill at Will Baker Park. The basketball court becomes an ice rink for skating, broomball, and ice hockey, complete with warming hut.

Across the street from the basketball court/ice rink, Pulpit Rock Brewery offers cozy heated outdoor igloos to enjoy a beverage and snack. If you want to stay cozy all day, check out Vesterheim’s exhibits and classes.
